Most wellbeing budgets buy an app nobody opens

Gym discounts and app licences are easy to buy and easy to report on. What they hand back is a login count. Nothing in it tells you whether one person ate differently.

What I run instead is eight weeks, opt-in. Each person gets their own numbers and a plan built from the food they already buy. One person reads their week every week, and that person is me, which is why the group is capped at 15.

What the eight weeks look like

Before it starts

Everyone who opts in answers a short intake: height, weight, how they eat now, what they have already tried, and a health screening.

Weeks 1 and 2

No diet. They record what they already eat and weigh in daily. Most people have never once seen their own baseline, and the fortnight of records is what every later decision is made from.

Week 3

They get their numbers, and a plan assembled from the food they already buy. Not a menu of things they will cook once and never again.

Weeks 4 to 8

One check-in a week. The target is corrected against what the scale actually did, not against what the formula predicted it would do.

What you never see

You never see an individual's weight, measurements, health answers or food records. Not on request, and not sliced into a group small enough to work out who is who.

What you get is one line a month: how many people opted in, how many are still recording, how many finished. At the end you also get the group's average change, and only when the group is large enough that no single number points back at a person.

Health and body data is special category data under UK GDPR. Once it reaches you it is yours to hold safely, so it does not reach you. The records sit with me, a data processing agreement is signed before the first person joins, and everything is deleted six months after the programme ends, the same retention this site already runs on its own programme.

Not everyone gets a calorie target

Every participant answers the same health screening I use before taking on a one-to-one client. Pregnancy, breastfeeding, a history of an eating disorder, and several cardiac, liver, kidney and diabetes treatments all switch the numbers off.

That person still gets the programme, the structure and the weekly contact. What they do not get is a deficit and a target, and they are pointed at their GP instead. Nobody is told they failed a test, and nothing about who was screened out reaches you.

Who runs it

My name is Oleks. I am not a dietitian and I do not present myself as one. I am the person who weighed 123 kg in 2022, lost 40 of it, decided I was fixed, and was back at 113 within a year.

The second time I stopped guessing. I learned what a calorie actually is, what protein is for, and why one meal holds you until evening and another leaves you hungry at four. I weigh 77 kg now. My last body scan, May 2026, read 13.8% body fat and a metabolic age of 21. I was 36.

That is the whole credential. There is nothing here to admire and nothing to buy into: the system is calories, enough protein, a structure a person can repeat, and someone looking at the number every week.

The pilot

One company at a time, up to 15 people, eight weeks. The cap is real, because every week of it is read by me.

Price is agreed after a call, because headcount decides it. Tell me roughly how many people and what you have tried already, and I will come back within a day and say straight out if it is not a fit.

Start a conversation

Roughly how many people, and what your team has already been offered. Two sentences is enough.
